KIK Consumer Brands – Pool Division KIK’s Pool Additives Division (“Pool”) is a leading player in North America and key international markets with a broad brand and product portfolio spanning both the Mass and Specialty Retailer channels. We are well known for our Clorox® Pool&Spa™ products in the North American Mass channel, our BioGuard® brand in the North American, Australian and South Africa Specialty channel, and our Bayrol brand across Europe. Our multi-functional product formulations and innovative water testing innovations allow pool owners to safely and easily enjoy their backyard retreat.


The Maintenance Supervisor is an integrate part of the plant management team. The maintenance supervisor is responsible for the overall coordination activities of maintenance technicians in setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery equipment and ensures that production requests are met promptly and ensures all equipment are operating in a safe working order. This role is based at the Conyers, Georgia manufacturing facility. This is a salaried exempt position.

Essential Job Functions



  • Directs the maintenance work force and provides on-site expertise.
  • Ensures that work is accomplished in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Reviews work planning and scheduling with the production planner.
  • Ensures quality of work adhering to all safety standards.
  • Ensure that equipment availability is adequate to meet the production plan.
  • Works with plant or production supervision to ensure any operator performed maintenance duties are facilitated.
  • Works with the Maintenance Manager to ensure all maintenance craft employees are properly qualified and trained for all maintenance work assigned.
  • Enforces environmental regulations.
  • Focuses downward and is highly visible in the field.
  • Champions proactive maintenance vs. reactive maintenance.
  • Administers encouragement and discipline to direct employees.
  • Monitors the CMMS.
  • Implements preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Works with procurement and external vendors for purchase of supplies, parts, and obtaining competitive bids for equipment.
  • Monitors shop qualifications and quality standards for outside contractors.
  • Develops standards for major maintenance overhauls and outages.
  • Manage maintenance team's maintenance budget.




  • Previous hands on experience with assembly line machinery including PLC programming
  • Excellent reading, writing and math skills.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and mechanical skills. Be able to read blueprints.
  • Basic computer skills using in particular using Excel and Word.
  • Excellent communication interpersonal/employee relations skills.
  • Ability to influence culture from reactive to proactive maintenance methodologies.
  • Must be willing to work off shift hours (as needed)

  • At least a two year associates degree in industrial engineering/technology or related discipline.

  • Prepare annual performance reviews and corrective action forms for hourly maintenance technicians.

  • Counsel and coach hourly maintenance technicians in job performance.
