KIK Consumer Brands – Automotive Division

Our Automotive business is comprised of the Prestone® and Holts® businesses. We develop, manufacture and market antifreeze/coolant and other automotive functional fluids and car appearance products in North America and key international markets. Prestone® is the number one branded consumer choice for antifreeze/coolant in North America. Other brands in our Automotive Care business include Holts®, Redex® and Simoniz® (outside North America).

This position will drive and execute the daily tasks for Prestone branded portfolio of partnerships and events that help Prestone to become the leader in Antifreeze and Performance Chemical categories.

 In this role, you will contribute to the vision and strategy for the Prestone Brand execution. Using both creative, communicative and analytical skills you will help to execute successful partnerships and events that drive awareness and sales within consumer, commercial and industrial industries. As a key leader on the team that is responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining partnerships (motorsports, sports, events, etc.), it is essential that you collaborate closely with the Prestone marketing and sales teams to maximize promotional opportunities, execution of events, and growth and success of Prestone brand. You will provide updates and feedback (pre, during and post) at each race and event to the teams. You will also work to help execute marketing programs and promotions in conjunction with the partnerships and events.

Essential Job Functions

  • Support the sales departments in all areas of the partnership, including the renewal efforts, B2B opportunities and attendance at race or event
  • Communicate regularly with the sales and marketing department for all sponsor events, appearances, autograph request, donations, etc.
  • Reinvent, reposition and grow the brand in a very competitive category with unique and different onsite brand awareness campaigns including booth design, event presence, and activation with attendees


Brand Management (Partnerships & Events)

  • Assist with the design and implementation of trade show appearance and elements to ensure a successful show experience
  • Assist with the final display of trade show booth, and/or other activation material
  • Work with booth assembly company to coordinate with show service including material handling, electrical, etc
  • Staff booth as necessary to ensure brand message is conveyed to attendees


Job requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing or related field plus 3+ years of Marketing experience, including a minimum of 3 years that include tradeshow and partnership experience

  • Understanding of B2B or Sponsorship Services 
  • Must have strong project management skills
  • Strong analytical and technical skills; comfortable with syndicated data
    • Strong business and analytical skills are required to analyze and interpret results of research, marking promotions, educational programs and brand targets.
  • Experience and knowledge of how to merchandise products to drive revenue, brand awareness and evaluate ROI on partnerships/events
  • A strong sense of urgency and ability to manage numerous projects at one time are required.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills to effectively communicate with senior management, retailers (trade contacts), industry professionals, and market affiliates, sales teams and other internal departments. Must be experienced in presenting in front of large audiences and senior executives.
  • Must be a Brand Ambassador for Prestone Products Corporation and ensure all tactics adhere to Branding guidelines
  • Must have interest in the industry that Prestone competes within
  • Approximately 40% of travel required (domestic)
  • Must be reasonably available for corporate events
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends and some holidays
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
