KIK Consumer Brands – Hospitality Division

Our Hospitality business, operating as Marietta Hospitality, is a leading North American provider of guest amenities supplying several national and international hotel chains and resorts with single-use personal care products such as shampoos, conditioners, lotions, body wash and bar soap. Our Marietta Hospitality business also partners with leading brands to offer custom amenity programs to our hotel and resort customers.

Supervises and coordinates activities of maintenance staff in setting up, installing, repairing and maintaining machinery equipment. The maintenance supervisor is also responsible for ensuring Production and Processing requests are met promptly and equipment is in safe working order.

Essential Job Functions

  • Provides support and direction to maintenance personnel on packaging machinery and processing equipment.
  • Works with Production and Processing teams to ensure preventative maintenance is completed properly and in a timely manner.
  • Works with engineering group and maintenance staff in the design and manufacture of required parts.
  • Assists with the design and implementation of major changes to production line layouts and/or equipment movement as required.
  • Ensures maintenance personnel are properly trained and following documented procedures including the operation, setup, changeover or repairing of production and processing equipment.
  • Reviews work planning and scheduling with the Production Planner.
  • Works with procurement and external vendors for purchase of supplies, parts and obtaining competitive bids for equipment.
  • Monitors shop qualifications and quality standards for outside contractors on HVAC, machine shop work, and lawn care.

Qualifications

Minimum two-year degree in Industrial Engineering Technology or related discipline or significant experience required in area of discipline.

Minimum 5 years’ experience of maintenance supervision in a consumer packaged goods or similar manufacturing environment.

 

Previous hands on experience with assembly line machinery including PLC programming.

Effective oral and written communication skills.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.

Excellent organizational and mechanical skills. Must be able to read blueprints.

Excellent interpersonal/employee relations skills.

Proficiency using MS Office software.
