    In this role, you will contribute to the vision and strategy for the Prestone Brand execution. Using both creative, communicative and analytical skills you will help to execute successful partnerships and events that drive awareness and sales within consumer, commercial and industrial industries. As a key leader on the team that is responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining partnerships (motorsports, sports, events, etc.), it is essential that you collaborate closely with the Prestone marketing and sales teams to maximize promotional opportunities, execution of events, and growth and success of Prestone brand. You will provide updates and feedback (pre, during and post) at each race and event to the teams. You will also work to help execute marketing programs and promotions in conjunction with the partnerships and events.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Design the Prestone Truck & Trailer annual program and set marketing objectives. Develop all displays and materials to be used on site at events, which draws and engages show attendees, and ensure all tactics adhere to branding guidelines.      
    • Assist with both setting up the event, and taking it down. Work with booth assembly team to coordinate show service, including material handling, electrical, etc. Act as a brand ambassador for Prestone Products Corporation. Coordinate event staffing, including internal attendance. Assist agency with social media presence and activation
    • Determine the annual Truck & Trailer calendar of events to attend and perform all applicable registration and compliance tracking
    • Manage Prestone trade shows, particularly SEMA and other larger shows.       Determine objectives, design and implement trade show appearance and branded assets/materials and displays to ensure a successful show experience. Assist with the final display of the trade show booth and work with assembly company, and coordinate event staffing. Assist agency with social media presence and activation

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing, communications, or a related field

    • Minimum three plus years of marketing experience, including a minimum of 3 years tradeshow and/or event management experience
    • Demonstrated capability managing budgets and following compliance
    • Must have minimum knowledge of car mechanics/car industry and interest to learn
    • Strong project management, organizational, and budgeting skills.       Ability to simultaneously manage numerous projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills to effectively communicate with trade show attendees, retailers (trade contacts), industry professionals, internal management, and internal sales/marketing teams
    • Ability to travel up to 40% of time to events and shows (domestic), which includes weekends/evenings for several shows
    • Ability to work both independently yet also be part of a team
    • Strong capability in powerpoint, word, and excel
