    KIK Consumer Brands – Pool Division

    KIK’s Pool Additives Division (“Pool”) is a leading player in North America and key international markets with a broad brand and product portfolio spanning both the Mass and Specialty Retailer channels. We are well known for our Clorox® Pool&Spa™ products in the North American Mass channel, our BioGuard® brand in the North American, Australian and South Africa Specialty channel, and our Bayrol brand across Europe. Our multi-functional product formulations and innovative water testing innovations allow pool owners to safely and easily enjoy their backyard retreat.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Perform instrumental (ICP, GC) and wet chemistry analysis under minimum supervision supporting BioLab and KIK business.
    • Assist with equipment maintenance, logbooks and database update, method development, SOP preparation, lab supplies purchase, lab waste management and lab safety initiatives.
    • Function as GLP study chemist / study director as needed.
    • Assist with product quality control testing and product development as needed

    Qualifications

    Education

    • B.S. Chemistry

    Minimum Experience

    • 1-3 years of work experience in Analytical Laborator
    • Experience with instrumental and wet chemistry analysisExperience with instrumental and wet chemistry analysis, including but not limited to ICP, GC, redox and acid base titrations, pH measurement, etc.
    • Working knowledge with computer and various software, such as MS Access database.
    • Knowledge in water treatment and GLP.
    • Detail-oriented
    • Organized
    • Good team work and communication skills
    • Functions well under pressing timeline
