    Responsible for all aspects in QA functions with respect to carrying out technical and supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable regulatory requirements.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Responsible for supervising QA functions at KIK.
    • Develop procedures, conduct training and complete batch records in compliance with cGMP regulations.
    • Investigate complaints on existing products and respond to vendor or customer
    • Review and implement new customer specifications into the operations.
    • Coordinate special projects as requested.
    • Serve as the technical contact for customer quality concerns and meetings at KIK.
    • Assist with the development of SPC in the manufacturing operations.
    • Provide training, mentoring and supervision to Quality Assurance Auditors, Production Leadership, and Line personnel.
    • Continuously improve quality and  performance based on the key performance indicators
    • Interact with Specifications Department, Warehousing, Compounding, Lab and other departments as appropriate.
    • Conduct employee SOP training  and ensure training effectiveness
    • Communicate safety topics, quality procedures and updates.
    • Oversee line trials and participate in other plant teams and programs such as HACCP Team, Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, etc.
    • Direct and advise auditors, and production personnel in the execution of rework protocols
    • Assure Line audits are conducted and retain samples pulled for all production.
    • Re-inspect and disposition substandard product after rework.  Documents results properly.
    • Responsible for monitoring cGMP’s.

    Two-year degree or significant experience required in area of discipline
