    Site Overview

    Custom Division's Georgia contract manufacturing plant is located conveniently in Gainesville with 300,000 square feet of production space. The facility runs 24 hours at 5 days a week and is registered and compliant with the FDA, EPA, & cGMP. The facility is capable of manufacturing quality products in the following: steel or aluminum aerosol cans, bag on valve, and liquid filling for plastic, glass, or composite containers packaging/filling services.


    Position Summary

    The Manufacturing Project & Customer Service Manager leads and oversees the daily activities of the Project and Customer Service Management Team who provide informational and technical support to KCM Division's Customers. This is a critical project and customer  interface management role between operations management and the customer to ensures customer needs are met. Exceptional leadership, project / program leadership, ability to motivate and having a high sense of urgency for customer satisfaction is crucial for this position. This is a diverse role, and is a combination of traditional employee management, customer management, and some product change management.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Provides single point of contact for a customer across all sites for tactical day-to-day issues.
    • Manages PMS time-line of new launches and ensures accuracy of the information provided to operations.
    • Manages daily interface with customers, including order management, notification of routine price increases, customer complaints, first stop for invoice quality A/R issues, Manages SLOB Inventory, and ensures deployment of all information customer requires including reports, order status etc.
    • Manages the CS&OP process with all participants to ensure that all desired elements of the CS&OP are accurate and effectively communicated. Recognizes resource changes due to customers changes in expectation, and or with information provided by the Plant and ensures the information is provided to Sales for Commercial response.
    • Ensure all customer reports required for receiving verification, daily production, on-time delivery, ship status, release status etc are available to the customer on time and accurately.
    • Identifies mis-alignments and interprets them to the business & ensures appropriate cost capture for changes and emerging or evolving customer requirements.
    • Train and develop Customer Service/PMS representatives by providing KIK system and professional project role training.


    • Bachelor degree (or higher) required in area of discipline.
    • Previous experience in management of customer service and/or project specialist preferred.
    • CS management in an FDA regulated production environment a plus.
