    Site Summary

    KIK Custom Products’ Custom Manufacturing Division’s Danville, Illinois contract manufacturing facility is located conveniently in Danville near Champaign, IL. The facility runs 24 hours at 5 days a week and is registered and compliant with the FDA, EPA, & cGMP. This plant contains eight aerosol productions lines for pressurized products and three liquid production lines for the manufacturing of personal care and OTC consumer products. 


    Position Summary

    This position oversees waste water release and ensures waste water requirements are met.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Daily checks of all USP Water systems (all plants)
    • Sanitization & sterilization of equipment
    • Loading of salt for water systems
    • Control process equipment, filtrations, make the necessary equipment adjustments, including monitoring treatment process per instructions, policies & procedures
    • Responds to procedss changes, loarms, sample results & equipment observations to ensure compliance with internal & regular tory limits & requirements
    • Collection of samples both for internal analysis & for transfer to outside laboratories for regulatory compliance monitoring
    • Collect & record process data & maintain log, readying sheets & electornic records
    • Collect waste water samples & manage associated paperwork (chain of custody forms)
    • Other duties as assigned


    • Minimum HR Diploma or GED / 2 year vocational degree is ideal
    • Experience in chemical / water treatment
    • Highly organized work habits with the ability to analyze & solve complex problems
    • Solid knowledge of waste water laws, regulations, standards
    • Srong technical, interpersonal & communication skills
    • Analytical skills requiring the consistent exercise of discretion & judgement
