    KIK Consumer Brands – Pool Division
    KIK’s Pool Additives Division (“Pool”) is a leading player in North America and key international markets with a broad brand and product portfolio spanning both the Mass and Specialty Retailer channels. We are well known for our Clorox® Pool&Spa™ products in the North American Mass channel, our BioGuard® brand in the North American, Australian and South Africa Specialty channel, and our Bayrol brand across Europe. Our multi-functional product formulations and innovative water testing innovations allow pool owners to safely and easily enjoy their backyard retreat

     

    SUMMURY: This position will focus on maximizing maintenance efficiencies through the development of people and maintenance related programs across the BioLab, Conyers, Ga campus. The Reliability & Maintenance Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and driving strategies that will improve maintenance practices and processes to increase and sustain equipment up-time; while lowering repair costs, material inventory levels, and operational costs.

    Essential Job Functions

    Lead best in class maintenance program utilizing TPM and Lean principles:

    • Maintenance teams include Dry Plants, Liquid Plant, Facilities and Warehouses
    • Maintenance asset and purchase order management
    • Leads a culture of safety with improved LOTO procedures and APM (alternate protective measures) to protect both employees and assets.       Drives safety related considerations and improvements in new equipment designs.
    • Directs training and onboarding of associates to improve work performance and acquaint them with company policies and procedures
    • Develop and evolve a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) support, development, improvement using SAP to current capabilities and future opportunities.
    • Employ and maintain TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) mindset and identify best practices to solve for improved MTBF (mean-time-between-failure) of key equipment.
    • Plan, develop, and implement new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and effect greater utilization of labor and materials.
    • Evolve the Preventive/Predictive Maintenance program through the use of Work Orders across the Conyers campus.
    • Employ best practices with satellite MRO Parts Storage & Inventory Control locations
    • Develop reports to sustain improvements and communicate opportunities at an appropriate frequency to lead maintenance YoY improvements. Perform root cause analysis on plant failures and implement required actions to improve plant reliability.   Analyze operational data and equipment performance history to deliver improvements in critical maintenance related metrics / KPIs.
    • Confer with management, engineering, and quality control personnel to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment
    • Support RTO (Release to Operations) actions related to asset management and PM creation tied to new equipment installations.
    • Prepares department budget and monitors expenditure of funds in budget.       Verify month end accruals related to POs for finance.
    • Follow procedures for Purchasing Info Records (PIR) in SAP to include Vendor additions, corrections and Outline Agreements (OA) and Source Lists.
    • Supports CAPEX policy and procedures.
    • Escalate all price increases in excess of 5% or $2,000 from Vendors for approval

    Qualifications

    High School Diploma or GED

     

    • Two to Five years of supervisory experience with a diverse employee population
    • Strong people management, communication, motivational, and customer service skills
    • Strong SAP, Kronos and Microsoft Office skills: PowerPoint, Excel, Word. High volume reporting.
    • Proven experience in Maintenance planning, equipment parts, service and repairs management.
    • Experience with local vendors, contractors and suppliers strongly preferred.
    • Experience with PLC, electrical, instrumentation and controls preferred
    • Must have excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and be self-motivated.
    • Must have the ability to meet deadlines, effectively handle multiple priorities, be flexible and adjust quickly to change.
    • Must have high level of organization and follow-up skills.
    • Maintain data accurately and within required timelines
    • Ability to communicate with multiple levels of management
    • Ability to deal with sensitive information and keep information confidential.
    • High level of independence/ autonomy
