    KIK Consumer Brands – Automotive Division

    Our Automotive business is comprised of the Prestone® and Holts® businesses. We develop, manufacture and market antifreeze/coolant and other automotive functional fluids and car appearance products in North America and key international markets. Prestone® is the number one branded consumer choice for antifreeze/coolant in North America. Other brands in our Automotive Care business include Holts®, Redex® and Simoniz® (outside North America).

     

    SUMMARY: The Warehouse/Logistics Manager is within our Automotive division and is responsible for working cross-functionally to assists in implementation of supply chain improvements to drive better performance across the organization. Responsibilities include monitoring and managing inventory levels, ensuring on time deliveries, material planning, inventory accuracy, warehousing and managing product supply to improve/maintain internal and external customer service while managing working capital.

    Essential Job Functions

     

    • Responsible for maintaining appropriate inventory levels to meet customer service and inventory targets.
    • Perform safety stock analysis to determine appropriate inventory stocking levels.
    • Creates and distributes work order to production floor.
    • Serves as primary point of contact to local 3PL activities including cost and service metrics.
    • Coordinate all inbound and outbound shipments.
    • Initiate transfers between plant and 3PL warehouse.
    • Work closely with Supply Planning and Operations leadership to ensure alignment on production forecast and potential operational impacts.
    • Work closely with Prestone operations teams to investigate late sales orders, researching root causes when exceptions occur and drive solutions.
    • Lead process improvement initiatives.
    • Project management (new SKU introductions, rationalization, etc.)
    • Work on logistics cost savings initiatives to deliver bottom line impact.
    • Monitor cycle counts and manage warehouse related entries to ensure accurate inventories to meet customer demands.
    • Provides supervisory direction for the cycle counter and buyer personnel including all aspects of personnel performance, staffing, training, and discipline within the department.
    • Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels and customer service.
    • Evaluate and coordinate the disposition of excess and obsolete inventory.
    • Monitor FIFO activities.

    Qualifications

    B.S degree in Supply Chain or related field.

    3+ years supply chain operations and distribution experience.

    • Strong analytical skills and statistical knowledge. Understanding of multiple regression models.
    • Demonstrated communication, collaboration and leadership skills. Proven ability to work and influence at multiple levels of the organization.
    • Demonstrated experience in an ERP system – JDEdwards strongly preferred.
    • Proficient user of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.
    • Excellent written/verbal communications and strong analytical/problem solving skills
    • Strong sense of self-motivation and ability to work both independently and in a team setting. Must also be able to multitask and prioritize efficiently.
    • Ability to take initiative to solve problems
