  • Overview

    The Documentation Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining, and facilitating the updating and routing of controlled documents, including Product Registration Packages and Master Records for the KIK Prestige Laboratories Ontario, CA facility. Main Areas of Responsibilities may include assisting with document preparation to support product approvals, customer requests and internal technical/sales team. The Document Control Technician must be able to work professionally with internal staff and customers. This position reports to the Director of Innovation.

    Essential Job Functions


    • Perform approved formula release and provide the customer and manufacturing sites with required documents. 
    • Follow up and locate missing or incomplete information. Communication with Project Managers and customers in resolving requests.
    • Administers the controlled document management system and ensures the system is optimized and enhanced as needed. (Spinnsoft)
    • Reviews, approves, and promotes Project Documents.
    • Maintains document filing and storage systems to maintain quality assurance for laboratory and storage room inventory
    • Acts as local administrator of the electronic documentation system
    • Perform other duties as assigned Requirements
    • Coordinates the documentation system and is responsible for document routing and issuance to all applicable departments.
    • Maintain document storage areas through filing of incoming documents and maintaining existing documents in accordance with document retention procedures.
    • Excellent proofreading skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Maintains a clean and organized work area.
    • Well organized, detail oriented, and self-motivated.


    • High School Diploma and Vocational Certification or Equivalent Experience in area of discipline
    • Strong Microsoft Office skills (particularly Word and Excel)
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in document management.
